The tour was very nice. I booked a family of 27 persons and everything went very smoothly from pick up to drop off. Our tour guide was Prince. We understand that things need to happen on a certain schedule but we were traveling with senior citizens and there just is no moving a 92 year old fast. The pressure to get back to the bus on time and not be "that one" as Prince referred to was a bit worn out. There are long lines at the restrooms, food ordering, and check out lines that cannot be helped and that also needs to be taken into consideration. While we appreciated Prince's military stories along the purple heart highway, it still was a bit much. We endured it but at the end his request for gratuities/tips was a complete turn off. Mention it once and let that be that. He mentioned it about 4 times and even mentioned it at the last stop to go to the ATM to get a tip for him. I have been in hospitality and a meeting planner over 25 years. Asking for tips is poor and distasteful. And to mention putting his in his hand once departing the bus and the tips for the drivers should go to him separately is further distasteful. We understand that tips cannot be split but perhaps there is a better not so obvious way to communicate this especially for the amount of the excursion. He should refrain from this. We did have both drivers assist with our wheelchair for our matriarch and the stroller for the kids on the canyon stops and for that a tip is expected from us as the extra assistance was greatly appreciated and recognized, and we already had that in mind, just dont ask for a tip. We loved the trip and the canyon was beautiful. I will be glad to book this tour again as Gray Line has always been reliable for many years.

Our experience with Gray Line, in its entirety... from booking, the discount, canceling 1 out of 4 tickets, the driver - Mike, the bus trip - from our hotel and back... was pleasant all throughout. That's how a vacation should be. No stress, no worries, delightful and fun! When I cancelled one of our four tickets that I paid for ahead of time, all was done via e-mail and I got my refund immediately. No delay, no questions, no calls... it was handled expeditiously!Mike, the driver was funny and kept us informed, educated, safe, and engaged (at least my sister and I were) the entire trip. If he was wondering who were cheering him on, clapping, and laughing at his jokes... it was me & my sister. I hope he feels that some of his passengers do understand what he's saying, because about half on the trip may not speak the language. But Mike... we understood you, what you were saying, and we thought you and your jokes were funny! Great job and you did well on our trip! We thank you!I highly recommend and will choose Gray Line again if need to.Over-all... all but positive experience. It was greatly appreciated.Best regards,Marie Hickey

We were very happy with our tour! While it was a long day it was well worth it! We had ample time to shop and spend time admiring the Grand Canyon! Prince was a fantastic guide and gave us copious amounts of local information and history. Our driver was efficient and safe at all times. (I’m sorry 😢 don’t remember his name!) we would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the south rim of the Grand Canyon in a clean bus and a safe tour! We would happily book this one again!

My wife and I had an amazing time, our guide, Prince is really great at his job and made the experience even better. Our driver, Patrick was also very kind and pleasant and kept us safe. I have already recommended this tour to friends who will be in Las Vegas next month. I am still in awe that we got this experience for such a low rate, it was well worth it and we hope to do it again one day.

Itinerary

Spend a day away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas aboard one of our luxury bus tours to experience the raw and natural beauty of the Grand Canyon South Rim. Words and even pictures cannot fully describe this stunning gift of nature. First photographed by Timothy O’Sullivan in 1871, we continue trying to capture the beauty of this geological wonder, but nothing compares to seeing the Grand Canyon in person. Gray Line has been providing Grand Canyon sightseeing excursions since 1947, so it’s fair to say that we've mastered the amazing tour experience to ensure you have the best possible touring experience.

Your day will start by departing from the Gray Line Las Vegas Tour Center in Las Vegas located just minutes from the famous Las Vegas Strip. En route to the Grand Canyon, your tour guide will provide you with an expert narration of the area’s most historical and interesting facts about the Spanish explorers, numerous native cultures, and the early Western Settlers of northern Arizona.

A stop is provided at the exclusive Grand Canyon Visitors Center, where you can enjoy lunch and do some souvenir shopping before heading into the Grand Canyon National Park. Upon arrival in the Grand Canyon National Park, prepare for a spectacular experience that you and your family will not soon forget! Enjoy free time at Mather Point to explore the trails lining the canyon’s edge or to simply take in the amazing sights of the Grand Canyon. Heading deeper into the National Park, we will stop for more sightseeing time at Bright Angel Lodge, one of the original hotel destinations at the Grand Canyon South Rim located directly on the edge of the Grand Canyon itself.

Enjoy a quick stop on the return for dinner at a fast-food restaurant in Kingman Arizona prior to returning to Las Vegas, the meal at this stop is not included in the cost of the tour.
