Lake Mead Recreation Area is open year-round, 7 days a week. However, some beaches are only open during the daytime, while others are open 24 hours. Restricted beaches will be marked with signs indicating when they open and close. The Lake Mead Visitor Center is open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but is closed on major holidays.
The Lake Mead National Recreation Area is a beautiful sparkling oasis where visitors can enjoy swimming, boating, jet-skiing, fishing, and other water sports. It’s a relaxing place to take in the scenic southwestern landscapes with your family.
