Easy Red Rock Trails For Casual Hikes
Lost Creek Waterfall
Less than an hour gains the maximum elevation of 240 feet. The one-mile round trip is worth it to see this beautiful seasonal waterfall.
Pine Creek Canyon
Two miles up to 200 feet and two miles back down. It takes about 2-3 hours, depending on how much time you spend exploring the 100-year-old homestead or cooling off in the waters of the wash.
Ice Box Canyon
Round trip is less than 3 miles and takes a couple of hours. It ends at a seasonal waterfall with a maximum elevation of about 320 feet. The climb is worth the effort to gain your camera worthy prize.
Moderate Red Rock Canyon Trails
Calico Loop
You have to go high, up to 1,300 feet, to gain this amazing vista. It takes about 3 hours and is the #1 hike in Red Rock Canyon, a 4-mile loop around Calico Hills.
Kraft Mountain Loop
Add a bit of boulder scrambling to your hike on this trail. 3 hours and nearly 4 miles of amazing scenery and some of the best photo ops in Red Rock.
North Peak
3.5 miles round trip, this is a 3-hour photo safari. There is nothing but gorgeous views.
Hard Trails For Experienced Adventurers
Bridge Mountain
Hiking and climbing are demanded on this long distance trail, 7-16 miles depending on where you start. If you are afraid of heights, this 2,000-foot high mountain peak is probably a no-go for you.
Juniper Peak
Listed as one of the top 5 Red Rock favorite trails among serious hikers, it is nearly 6 miles round trip and about 5 hours of nothing but rugged terrain scrambling.
