activity was fine, the tour experience was terriblefirst of all, the pickup bus was 20 min late, when we arrived at the center, had to stand around like cattle in a big room, concrete floor, no seats. When we finally got to board, had to stand outside again on concrete waiting for second bus to arrive.Young AA man helping was Great! very pleasant and helpful, The young man with longish hair taking tickets was rude! My wife had misplaced the ticket they gave us inside. Showed him wrist band and paid voucher, but all he said was I can't let you on the bus! When I got a little po'd he said well I don't have to let you on the bus. On the way to the grand canyon, A/C was not working, so was very warm and uncomfortable. The driver told us, they had a spare bus at the lunch stop, but that he had NEVER driven that type of bus before, which set off a lot of the passengers "is it safe"???He should never have said that.On the way back, he had gotten the A/C fixed, so it was uncomfortably COLD on the way back

I went to see the Grand Canyon, and I did. It was a long drive and day but worth it for me. The Grand Canyon IMAX is from the 80's . Old stuff. I would not recommend it to anyone.Watching the IMAX left us in a huge rush for lunch. By the time we got to the cafeteria there was little choice left of any kind. Also, some people were way late, there are always some that just do not 'get' it. I led tours to Europe for years and there always seemed to be someone that had to be tuned in. This is an age old problem Gray Line likely can't figure out either. And the only other thing was just as we were getting sorted out to leave and headed for the restroom it was CLOSED with the barricade stuff. How STUPID!!. I was undeterred. Some more timid people probably complied and did the pee dance till the next place. Using the restroom on a moving coach is undesirable. This needs to be straightened out with that place.

Driver was hilarious and professional at the same time. Enrique was his name. The bus was nice, the Vanhool double decker, but not all of the power outlets worked. None of the ones between the seats did, but the overhead ones did. Also there was no wifi on this bus, but the other bus did have wifi. There was plenty of time at each stop and our group came back on time every time.

Tour Itinerary

Spend a day away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas to experience the raw and natural beauty of the Grand Canyon South Rim. Words and even pictures cannot fully describe this stunning gift of nature. First photographed by Timothy O’Sullivan in 1871, we continue trying to capture the beauty of this geological wonder, but nothing compares to seeing the Grand Canyon in person. Gray Line has been providing Grand Canyon sightseeing excursions since 1947, so it’s fair to say that we've mastered the amazing tour experience to ensure you have the best possible touring experience.

Your day will start by departing from the Gray Line Tour Center in Las Vegas located just minutes from the famous Las Vegas Strip. En route to the Grand Canyon, our audio guide will provide you with an expert narration of the area’s most historical and interesting facts about the Spanish explorers, numerous native cultures, and the early Western Settlers of northern Arizona. A delicious lunch is provided at the exclusive National Geographic Visitors Center, where you can enjoy lunch and do some souvenir shopping before heading into the Grand Canyon National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll have free time at Mather Point to explore the trails lining the canyon’s edge or to simply take in the amazing sights of the Grand Canyon. Prepare for a spectacular experience that you and your family will not soon forget! Heading deeper into the National Park, we will stop for more sightseeing time at Bright Angel Lodge, one of the original hotel destinations at the Grand Canyon South Rim located directly on the edge of the Grand Canyon itself.

Get ready for a nice relaxing ride back to Las Vegas in comfort aboard our luxury motorcoaches.
